Born in Quito, Ecuador, I relocated to Miami at the age of 6,
I could not have picked a better place to live (okay, Santa Monica)
BUT this is truly the best place to call home.
I grew up around make up & as a teen developed my own style
I have always known I’d end up being an artist & so photography
chose me. I’m very influenced by music, fashion, art.
For the past couple of years I have been vlogging on youtube,
photographing, going to school, working freelance & being me!
I hope this blog can maybe inspire you, to follow your dreams,
to dress up, get made up, feel good, smile.
Whatever it may be, I hope to bring someone a smile! :)
The absolutely basics
- I'm in college for photography! (Yay for being an art kid)
- I'm 20 years old (I just turned 20 in April!)
- I drive a black car :)
- I am very into fashion, make up and art!
- I live in Florida, my dream home is California or France!
- I have three cats! Momma Meredith and her two kittens. (Majin & Lucy)
- I can be really emotional (good and bad thing?)
- I believe a lot in energy and positive thoughts
- I've been on youtube since 2008 and I couldn't imagine my life without it!
- I don't believe in religion (however I respect everyone's beliefs and live life on my own terms and morals)
- My goal in life is to live to the fullest, always help others and die leaving a legacy by changing the world in someway. (Too ambitious? Haha)
Why a blog?
Over the years, I have enjoyed documenting my life, through video blogging, photography, etc. Since I was a young girl, I enjoyed writing very much, so much that I once wanted to be a writer, oh those days.
Anyway, later on in life I decided that photography was my calling but most importantly I wanted to change the world.
I want to leave a legacy and so, this isn't the first blog I start, I've tried to do a couple, with a single topic and to be honest, they didn't work out.
I realized they didn't work out because I am not a single topic person, I'm an all over the place, everything loving person.
AND so, this blog was created, this whole "Bella Mente" movement.
Bella Mente means Beautiful Mind in Italian and so I hope to share my thoughts, my passions, my life with the world.
I will definitely keep it PG-13 because well my life is PG-12 and I'd love to have a bigger impact on younger viewers.
Young girls need role models to look up to, not just celebrities, but real life people.
